It’s going to be another fabulous June weekend packed with outdoor festivals, and art, dining and shopping events.

Take part in cultural festivals, an annual car show, and check out the latest action sport technologies at the first ever WaterSHRED event along the San Lorenzo Riverwalk.

The weather forecast calls for a nice one around the Monterey Bay!

Home/Work Anniversary Party

Celebrating two years in business and one year at the current mid-town location, this locally-owned home decorating boutique is hosting a tropical themed anniversary party. Enjoy food, music, beer, a photo booth and a raffle.

Farm to Table Wine Dinner – Featuring: Summit To Sea Vineyards

43rd ANNUAL UCSC STUDENT PRINT SALE

When: 6/9 – 6/10 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Where: University of California Santa Cruz

See a showcase of student artwork for sale and get a behind the scenes look at the printmaking program and workshop, too. (This runs together with the Art Department’s Spring Open Studios on Friday.)

‘The Two Gentlemen of Verona,’ presented by Shakespeare to Go

Where: Second Stage, UCSC

Shakespeare has hit the road again, this time bringing an adaptation of what is thought to be one of Shakespeare’s first plays to you and your family. Shakespeare to Go brings a play to life in 50 minutes and is focused on younger audiences. Bring your family to this fun performance.

Sustain Supper Benefiting the Homeless Garden Project

When: 6/10 from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Where: Homeless Garden Project’s Natural Bridges Farm at Delaware and Shafer in Santa Cruz

An evening of gourmet food by featured local chefs, sustainability talks by renowned guest speakers and music at this benefit dinner to help support this important local project. Special guest Guy Kawasaki will be the keynote speaker.

Boho Castro, a Bohemian-style fundraiser for the Castro Adobe

When: 6/10 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Where: Castro Adobe State Historic Park

Go back in time to the 1960s Castro Adobe and relive a night when the property was owned by the Jowers family and was a center of Bohemian art and culture. It’s that time of year once again to watch the best classic and custom rides as they cruise from the Boardwalk to Capitola Village on Saturday morning and then gather for this favorite car show. See what’s new with the old classics at one of California’s most popular car shows. Great cars, music, and vendor booths.

Japanese Cultural Fair

Santa Cruz Jewish Cultural Festival

When: 6/11 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
Where: Temple Beth El, 3055 Porter gulch Rd, Aptos, 95003

Live entertainment, guest speakers, local art, delicious food and fun family activities are on the schedule this year at this annual fair. Tour a pop-up Jewish museum in the library, listen to Ted style “Chai Talks” and enjoy a sanctuary tour. This year there will be a community hall to discuss projects and programs, as well.

Highway 17 Gratitude Picnic

A grassroots community celebration of gratitude for all of the crews who worked on our roadways over this past winter of record storms and road closures. Free lunch for work crews and their families.
