The English Beat

The Boardwalk’s Friday Night Bands at the Beach concert series is required free summer fun. This weekend stars the English Beat, one of the great 90’s English bands with their message of love and unity, which we all need to dance to right about now.

Mermaid Madonna: Tales of a Crisis

A poetic performance, this play features music, movement, characters and storytelling to portray the effects on a small fishing village in Greece of the arrival of half a million desperate migrants from war-torn Syria.

The only thing more beautiful than a hike in the Henry Cowell redwoods is a hike in Henry Cowell’s under a full moon! With live music, kids’ crafts and lots of telescopes provided by the Santa Cruz Astronomy club, you will get to see and learn about your favorite park at night!
