Spring Beer Week

Where: Beer Thirty & Mission Street BBQ
Spring Beer Week began on Monday and runs through the weekend. Put on by Santa Cruz Waves, Spring Beer Week, features different local breweries each day of the week. This weekend will feature Beer Thirty on Friday & Mission Street BBQ on Saturday.
Be Calm Honcho, Painted Horses, Sunmonks
When: Saturday, 4/11 at 9:00 pm
Where: The Crepe Place

Bay Area indie rockers Be Calm Honcho are described on their Bandcamp page as “somewhere between dive-bar-stomp and showtune surf.” Whatever genre you interpret them as, both Be Calm Honcho and local favorite Painted Horses are sure to deliver a great show.
Coastal Wildflower Day
When: Saturday, 4/11 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Where: Half Moon Bay State Beach
How Much: Free (parking is $10)
Head up the coast on Saturday to learn more about what grows in our backyard and support the State Beach native plant nursery by attending Coastal Wildflower Day, where you and your family can play games, take guided walks, and participate in interactive educational experiences all centered around coastal wildflowers.
State of the San Lorenzo Event
When: Saturday, 4/11 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Where: Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium
How Much: Free
If you’e concerned about the quality and well being of the San Lorenzo River, show your support and get informed at this informational meeting. State and local officials will be on hand to provide enlightenment and ideas.
Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival

Where: San Lorenzo Park

Whether you’re a participant or a spectator, this 6th annual celebration of mountain biking will likely get you pumped on the sport, and the area’s great natural and manmade venues for it.
Downtown Antique Fair

If you’ve got a twenty dollar bill burning a whole in your pocket, finding a way to spend it won’t be difficult at the Downtown Antique Fair. The sprawling outdoor market features antiques of any category and price point you could want, so there really is something for everybody.
Birding Safari

Where: Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve
