The weekend is here…Finally! Is it just me, or did that seem like a looooong week?
There’s a lot going on this weekend, as usual. We’ve got First Friday, the Warriors at home against L.A., the Migration Festival at Natural Bridges, the opening concert of the Baroque Festival, and plenty more.

First Friday Events
The only thing better than a Friday is First Friday. The First Friday art tour has become a favorite event, but it isn’t the only perk that come with the first Friday of each month:

- First Friday Free Day at the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History
Migration Festival
When: Saturday, 2/8
The 28th Migration Festival takes place this Saturday from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm at Natural Bridges State Beach. The event celebrates the migration of whales, butterflies, and birds in our region. There will also be plenty of crafts and games for kids, and live music.

Santa Cruz Baroque Festival
When: Saturday, 2/8
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival. This year’s festival kicks off on Saturday with the Opening Concert I: From Luke to Uke, featuring Tim Rayborn, John Schneiderman, & Ukulele Dick.

Santa Cruz Warriors
When: Saturday, 2/8
The Santa Cruz Warriors host L.A. on Saturday night. Head down to the Kaiser Permanente Arena to cheer on the Warriors.

Antique Faire
When: Sunday, 2/9
The Santa Cruz Antique Faire takes place the second Sunday of each month in downtown Santa Cruz.
