Hi,
Unless things have changed recently, I would not count Jack’s Burger as dog friendly. A few months ago my partner and I were enjoying our meal in their outdoor patio with our well-behaved and super friendly English Bulldog, and we were asked to leave. The female staff pointed at a sign posted on the outdoor area that said “no dogs allowed”. We were not allowed to finish our meal and had to leave. Ever since this happened, I choose not to eat there, even though I love their burgers. I support dog friendly restaurants, and I eat out several times a week.
Thank you,
Claudia
Hi Claudia,
Thanks for you feedback on Jack’s Burgers. I contacted the management and they stopped allowing dogs. We’ve removed Jack’s from the list. I’m sorry for your experience there with your dog. Good thing there are lots of other dog-friendly places to eat in Santa Cruz County and we hope this list helps. We’d love to see a pic of you and your English Bulldog dining around town to include with this post.
Thanks again!
Hello,
I want to add that Tramonti on Seabright Ave. in Santa Cruz is dog friendly. I bring my English Bulldog to this place quite often and staff is always friendly. They have a nice outdoor patio where you can enjoy a meal with your furry friend. They bring you a water bowl upon request.
Claudia
Hi Claudia,
Great add! Thank you! I contacted the management at Tramonti and confirmed they do allow dogs in their outside dining area. We’ve added Tramonti to the list.
Charlie Hong Kong allows dogs in their patio 🙂
Hi Angelica,
Thanks for your comment about Charlie Hong Kong. I contacted the management there and confirmed they do allow dogs in their outside eating area. We’ve added it to the list. Thanks again!
Hi another restaurant to add to the list is Cafe Ella in Watsonville! They have a lot of outdoor seating and dogs are welcome.
Thanks again Claudia. We’ll update our list.
The Abbey coffee shop cafe, on High St, has a large outdoor patio and they allow dogs. You can actually bring your dog inside to order and then go to the patio.
steamer lane supply! dog menu, water bowl, free treats!
Kianti’s downtown has a nice “pet patio”. We had lunch there with our dog a few weeks ago. They did not offer doggie water.
