Ebb & Flow 2019

This community event brings together visual and performing arts with ecology and environmentalism to celebrate and appreciate our life-giving river, the San Lorenzo. There will be tons of interactive activities, performances, food trucks and beer. It’s a great way to learn about our ecosystem and enjoy the immense beauty of Santa Cruz!
First Friday at the Museum: California’s Coastal Birds with Jacqueline Deely

The Museum of Natural History kicks off its Summer Art Series with the debut of “California’s Coastal Birds,” a photography exhibit with a message of conservation. Meet the artist, Jacqueline Deely, and enjoy wine, snacks, and free admission to the museum.
June First Friday at the MAH: Do It Together

A special First Friday is in store as the MAH sends Executive Director Nina Simon off in style. In true Nina Simon spirit, the “Do It Together” theme invites the community to participate and get hands-on with art activities and performances. Enjoy free admission to the museum all day, and a street festival and live music in the evening.

Yōso Wellness Grand Reopening Celebration and Fundraiser

Yōso Wellness Spa is celebrating its grand reopening celebration and the whole community is invited! Santa Cruz Derby Girls Pride Month Double-Header

Come cheer on the Santa Cruz Derby Girls in this family-friendly Pride themed double-header.
Game one features the Saltwater Sassies, one of the Santa Cruz Derby Groms youth teams, against the Westcoast Jr. Derby Knockouts. If you have kids interested in derby then you’ll definitely want to come early to cheer on the Sassies. You can find out more about the Groms (ages 7-17) program here.
The Harbor Hellcats from the adult league will host game 2 against the Westcoast Derby Knockouts from Ventura.
As always, there will be plenty of fun on and off the track. This month’s event includes facepainting and a professional photobooth.
