Here’s a fun reading challenge for the kids. Print out the Bookshop Bingo card and have them color each square after reading the corresponding book. Once they’ve completed a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line, write the books titles on the back and bring into Bookshop Santa Cruz once they’ve reopened to receive a prize.

Rocky’s Fitness Center on Portola Dr. has been offering the public a free, stay-at-home workout class daily since Day 1 of Shelter in Place. Salsa Suelta in Place

When: Every Thursday until July 30

For all dance-deprived dancers! Join this free Salsa Suelta dance session for all advanced beginners and up (should know the basic Salsa steps and turns). Suelta = released, i.e dancing without a partner. So, it’s a chance to practice footwork and rhythms even if you don’t live with a dance partner. The dance patterns may include Cuban styles such as Mambo, ChaChaCha, Afro-Cuban Rumba, and what many refer to as “Cuban Salsa”.
