This Weekend in Santa Cruz: June 15th – 17th, 2018

roundup june 15, 2018

This weekend we celebrate dads, grads and the beginning of summer vacation.

Friday night brings the first Free Friday Night Bands on the Beach concert. Saturday marks an important date in history for freedom with a fantastic community celebration. Sunday is Father’s Day, and you can treat that special dad to a firehouse breakfast, a history walk through the redwoods, or a chuckwagon BBQ and steam train ride.

UCSC graduation also takes place this weekend, so be prepared for a lot of traffic and activity around town.

This Weekend in Santa Cruz: June 8th – 10th, 2018

Weekend events, june 8-10, 2018

This weekend brings some favorite annual events such as the Japanese Cultural Festival, back for its 32nd year. One of California’s most popular custom car shows cruises into town, and an annual celebration of locally grown Gerbera daisies will bring some bright summer color to your weekend, too.

There’s also plenty of happenings on the local food and craft beverage scene, an opportunity to immerse yourself in a spectrum of light, and a variety of fabulous theater, song, and dance performances in store. So get out there and have some fun!
